Deborah Greenwood is a singer who spent many years touring, performing and recording with Jackie and many outstanding artists he worked with throughout his career. Her work with rock, blues and jazz artists helped her develop a voice with universal appeal which Leven described as ‘the archetypal female voice.’
She continues performing Leven’s songs on stage and has recently contributed to the tribute album The Wanderer.
Jinder is a UK-based songwriter and recording artist. Since 2004 he has released twelve critically acclaimed studio albums. These range from the fragile, impressionistic folk of ‘Willow Park’ to the vibrant storytelling of 2020’s releases, The Silver Age and Almanac for the Failing Days. Having enjoyed a cult following for many years, Jinder came close to becoming a “household name” with the inclusion of Keep Me in Your Heart in the 2019 international hit movie Fishermen’s Friends and the chart success of follow-up singles, Overthinkers Anonymous and The Train to the Sky. Jinder returns in 2022 with the single How Do I Reach You? and a forthcoming thirteenth album The Old Black Wave.
Michael Weston King is the former leader of 1990’s UK Alt Country pioneers The Good Sons, with whom he made four ground-breaking albums. From 1999 to 2010 he toured the world as a solo artist, performing with the likes of Nick Cave, John Cale, Roger McGuinn, Steve Earle, Guy Clark, Chris Hillman, Ron Sexsmith, Nils Lofgren and many more. During this time, he released six studio albums, three live albums and a career retrospective DVD, The Crowning Story. For the past ten years he has been part of the country soul duo My Darling Clementine with his wife, Lou Dalgleish. They have released five much lauded albums, the latest being Country Darkness, a collaboration with Steve Nieve, re-interpreting the songs of Elvis Costello. In April 2022 he released The Struggle, his first solo album in ten years. It features co-writes and contribution from friends and musical fellow-travelers Peter Case, Jeb Loy Nichols, and Jackie Leven. Over sixty different artists have recorded Michael’s songs including American folk music icon Carolyn Hester and his mentor, the late, great Townes Van Zandt.
